Split tunneling in browser extensions
The Red Shield VPN browser extensions now support per-site split tunneling.
You can add domains that always go through the VPN — or conversely, exclude them and send traffic directly. Second-level domain wildcards are supported, for example *.ru. The feature is available in both Chromium-based browsers (Chrome, Brave, Edge, Yandex Browser) and Firefox.
Open the extension settings — the "Split Tunneling" section — and build your list of sites. Update the extension to the latest version if you don't see this option.
VLESS (XTLS) configurator in the Personal Area
Red Shield VPN has added a dedicated configurator for VLESS with XTLS transport to the Personal Area — one of the most DPI-resistant modern protocols.
You can generate a configuration and connect to Red Shield VPN from any VLESS-compatible client: Xray-core, v2rayNG, v2rayN, Hiddify, and others.
Open the "Manual Setup" section in the Personal Area — the VLESS (XTLS) button is first in the list, marked with a NEW badge.
The AmnesiaWG protocol is now available!
AmneziaWG is also already available in the Red Shield VPN app for iOS and will soon appear in apps for other platforms.
